The “Fragmented Context” Problem

You list goals in Notion. You schedule meetings in Google Calendar. You track time in Toggl.

These tools don't talk to each other. You lose momentum because you can't see the direct relationship between today's hours and tomorrow's achievements.

“I spent 8 hours at my desk but made zero progress on my main project.”

The Unified Loop

GoalSlot forces a strict 4-step workflow to ensure intention matches action.

1

Define

Create a clear Goal with a deadline (e.g., "Ship MVP"). If it doesn’t have a deadline, it’s just a wish.

2

Schedule

Allocate recurring time blocks on the weekly calendar, linked directly to that Goal.

3

Execute

Click the block to start the live timer. No more switching apps to track your time.

4

Review

View automated reports. Did you actually put in the hours? The data provides the answer.

Anti-Drift Mechanism

Goals without schedules are wishes. Time tracking without goals is busywork. GoalSlot hard-links your calendar blocks to your goals. You can't start a timer without assigning it to a mission.

  • Forces deliberate action
  • Reduces context switching cost

Data as Accountability

Don't rely on “feeling productive.” Get a receipt for your effort. See exactly how many hours you invested in “Learn React” vs “Random YouTube.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Is GoalSlot free to use?+

Yes. The Free plan lets you track 3 active goals, 5 schedule blocks, and 3 tasks per day — enough to build the habit. Upgrade when you outgrow the limits.

What’s the difference between goals and tasks?+

Goals are your larger objectives (e.g. "Learn React" or "Ship MVP"). Tasks are smaller, actionable items you work on daily. Tasks can be linked to goals so completing them automatically logs time toward the bigger objective.

How do I track my time?+

Use the timer on your dashboard to track time in real-time, or add manual entries after working. Each entry can be assigned to a goal, task, or schedule block — so every minute counts toward something.

Can I share my progress with my mentor?+

Yes. From the Sharing tab you can invite a mentor (or accountability partner) to view your goals, time entries, and reports. They don’t need a paid plan to view what you share.

Can I export my data?+

Yes. Reports can be exported as CSV or PDF from the Reports → Export page. You always own your data.
